| Function of the Department | The Industrial Training Institute (ITI) imparts skill training to youths, mainly school and college dropouts, to enable them to gain employment in government, private, and self-employment sectors. Objective of Craftsmen Training Scheme: 1. Ensure steady flow of skilled workers in different trades. 2. Raise industrial production quality and quantity through systematic training. 3. Reduce unemployment by equipping youths for industrial jobs. |
