- District Administration and Coordination

- Law & Order and Magistracy
- Acts as Additional District Magistrate.
- Issues prohibitory orders under BNSS (e.g., Section 163).
- Development & Schemes Implementation
- Oversees MGNREGA, PMAY, Swachh Bharat, etc.
- Acts as Administrator, Tobu Town Council.
- Disaster Management
- Leads sub-divisional disaster response with DDMA.
- Electoral Duties
- Acts as AERO for 55 Assembly Constituency Tobu.
- Conducts elections with DC & DEO.
- Public Grievance Redressal
- Conducts grievance forums and complaint redressal.
- Issuance of Certificates
- ST, IC, PRC, ILP, and Income certificates.
- Customary and Tribal Affairs
- Coordinates with tribal/village councils as per Article 371(A).
- Monitoring and Supervision
- Regular field visits and inspections for transparency.
