Establishment of an Integrated Traffic-cum-Security Command and Control Centre in Mon District

Under Mon Smart Hub initiative, Tizit has been equipped with high-quality AI-enabled CCTV systems, complemented by advanced night-vision surveillance capabilities with the name of Project Aolan.

A dedicated control room has been established at the SDPO Office, Tizit, to enable real-time monitoring and ensure a swift response to incidents.

The surveillance network has been strategically configured to cover key inter-state entry and exit points, critical junctions, as well as major arterial and diversion routes connecting Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

This will facilitate seamless monitoring across sensitive and high-movement corridors in the Tizit–Naginimora area.

This initiative is expected to significantly enhance district security, while also enabling effective monitoring of road safety, prevention of traffic violations, and reduction in road accidents in the Tizit and Naginimora areas.

The project underscores the commitment of Mon police to leveraging technology for smarter policing and ensuring the safety and well-being of all citizens.
